We have continued the rapid expansion of our sales team and recruited experienced mobility market specialist Gino Farruggio.
The ex-engineer is the new UK Trade Sales Manager for Stiltz Lifts and will be responsible for growing the company’s trade network in the United Kingdom.
Gino has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and says his aim is to ensure that there is a Stiltz Lifts partner strategically placed in ‘every major part of the UK’.
He said: “The Stiltz Lift is one of the most exciting products to be introduced to the UK market. The company has an excellent management team and this is a huge opportunity for me to grow the trade side of their business.
“I’ve been brought in to build strong relationships with our existing trade partners and set up new ones. The ultimate objective is to establish a network of partners that are strategically placed in every major part of the UK.”
Gino is familiar with selling stairlifts but says the Stiltz Lift has provided the market with the ideal alternative for this product, which can also be targeted at a younger audience.
He said: “Stiltz has designed a home lift that is innovative, fresh and, unlike a stairlift, does not have any stigma attached to it. Most people who purchase stairlifts are in their seventies or eighties, whereas the average age of a Stiltz customer is 60-65. This is because they are looking ahead to the future, when their mobility may be impaired.
“The Stiltz Lift has been designed to look stylish in the home and it may add value to a property too. Having previously worked in a fast paced growth business and built strong trade relationships I am looking forward to establishing Stiltz Lifts in the UK trade.”
