Meet the Team
United Kingdom – Head Office
Director of Product Development
After completing his studies in International Business at the University of Sydney, Cameron turned his attention to construction, building a family home in 2008.
After returning from a world expedition in 2009, Cameron and Lachlan teamed up to prepare plans for the Stiltz Home Lift for the world market.
With James and Peter on board, Stiltz was born in the study of Cameron’s home in Newport.
As the Director of Operations, Cameron spends most of his time working closely with our manufacturing team and our trained builders. Cameron also plays a key role in the assembly, installation and maintenance of all Stiltz Lifts.
When not at work, Cameron is a keen skier and enjoys a sunny afternoon on the Cricket field as a medium pace all-rounder.
Director of Business Development
James and Lachlan remained close friends after university, so when the opportunity arose to bring the Stiltz Lift range to the UK, James knew there was no better person to have on board.
Lachlan brings experience in businesses management to Stiltz, and enjoys the responsibility of marketing our products in the UK and around the world.
With many exciting opportunities on the horizon, Lachlan predominately works behind the scenes to ensure the awareness of Stiltz continues to grow around the world.
When not at work, Lachlan is a keen Juventus supporter and the man behind the stumps at Wokingham Cricket Club.
Mike’s track record of success in the home accessibility industry is unsurpassed. With over 20 years of industry experience he led a management buyout of a stairlift manufacturing company in 2004 before the business was sold to a major healthcare group in 2010. Seeing the potential for Stiltz as the aging population look for superior alternatives to stairlifts Mike invested in the business with Mark Blomfield in 2014.
Mike’s family keeps him busy in his downtime and he enjoys supporting and watching his children take part in many different sporting events.
China – Manufacturing
Director of Operations (China)
Having studied Chinese, Business and International Studies at University, James uses his fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) to run Stiltz’s operations in China. He works closely with the Chinese team and our suppliers to ensure the quality of design and workmanship of all parts of the Stiltz Lift are perfect.
James has lived and worked in China for over 3 years and is a regular columnist for the local expat magazine.
As the interest in the Stiltz Lift products continues to grow in Asia, James works closely with Lachlan to ensure our dealers in Asia are well serviced.
When not in the office, James is a keen guitarist and has been known to throw the occasional 180 in darts. Along with this, James is a right-arm medium pace bowler on the cricket field.
Director of Manufacturing
Peter is James’ father and has been involved with manufacturing all his life. From building submarine rollover equipment to large scale welding manipulators for power plants, it is safe to say that Peter can build pretty much anything.
Peter gained his experience from working in the lift industry in Sydney, building bespoke lifts since 1992. Now his undivided attention has turned to the Stiltz lift range, and he is committed to perfecting the lift for the customer.
Peter is in charge of our wholly controlled manufacturing plant in Jiangsu, China; working there every day to ensure our product is perfect before leaving the factory door.
In the few spare hours during the week, Peter spends his free time dabbling in his blacksmith trade. He also tries ever so hard to hit that elusive 180.
President of North American Operations
Mark moved to the USA from the UK in 2003 for a position as President of one of the home accessibility industry’s largest manufacturers. After he left the company Stiltz approached Mark to facilitate and run their planned USA expansion. Seeing the massive potential for the product in North America Mark jumped on board and hasn’t looked back as Stiltz goes from strength to strength on his side of the pond.
For his sins Mark is a keen West Ham United soccer fan and also enjoys the extensive travel he continues to do around North America. Now at 49 states visited he looks forward to soon becoming a member of the ’50 club’.
