Stiltz Lifts is delighted to say it has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s British Healthcare Awards which takes place tomorrow night.
We have been nominated in the categories for ‘Best New Business’ and ‘Best Creative Solution’. Our lift was the first and only domestic lift of its kind to be launched in the United Kingdom back in 2011 as it travels via dual rail technology and plugs straight into the wall using a normal 13amp power socket.
There are no load bearing walls or hydraulics required which means our team can install the Stiltz Lift, which has a footprint of less than seven square, virtually anywhere in the home making it an ideal alternative to a stairlift.
For ‘Best New Business’, we had to demonstrate commercial success and business growth, show how the company has developed and its future aspirations for it and provide evidence of supplier confidence and customer satisfaction. At Stiltz, we also had to explain how our product is innovative, why it represents great value for the user and prove that its has positively impacted the assistive technology market.
In the ‘Best Creative Solution’, we had to highlight the use of creative communications in response to a business need. This meant showing a high level of creativity and providing evidence of a strategic relevance to wider company
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) announced the shortlist on Twitter yesterday morning (December 1) after all entries were considered by an independent judging panel.
This year panel, chaired by Ray Hodgkinson MBE, includes Alastair Gibbs of TPG DisableAids, Kate Sheehan from The OT Service, and Guy Smallman who represents the Health Design and Technology Institute, Coventry University, who will all decide the final winners on the night.
The British Healthcare Awards is being held at Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London and will be presented by BBC Breakfast’s Bill Turnbull.
Our Director of Business Development, Lachlan Faulkner, will be attending the awards and today told Thiis Magazine: “We are delighted to be nominated for two awards at the British Healthcare Awards.
“Everybody at Stiltz Lifts has worked very, very hard to establish ourselves and our home lifts products in the UK so to be included in the shortlist by the judges is a fantastic feeling and proud moment for the company. We are very much looking forward to attending tomorrow night’s event.”
