Stiltz Lifts has received a visit from the Mayor of Dudley as part of his 100 business pledge.

Councillor Dave Tyler made a commitment to visit 100 borough businesses during his first year in office.

Cllr Tyler, pictured with Stiltz Lifts UK Trade Sales Manager Gino Farruggio (far left), Finance Director Peter Geobey and Chairman Mike Lord (far right), made the electoral pledge in order to celebrate the achievements of local businesses after being elected Mayor of Dudley in June.

He is also promoting the support available from Dudley Business First, the council’s single point of contact for business support, providing access to advice, funding, relocation and training.

Stiltz Lifts welcomed the borough’s first citizen to its headquarters in Kingswinford in the West Midlands with a tour around its offices and factory.

Mike Lord, chairman of Stiltz Lifts, said: “It was an honour for Stiltz Lifts to welcome the Mayor of Dudley to our Kingswinsford offices. It was a great opportunity for us to show Cllr Tyler what a thriving business we have become in the borough.

“We are growing at our phenomenal rate every year and creating more and more jobs in the area which can only be a positive thing for the West Midlands. We enjoyed sharing our vision for the future with the Mayor who was in awe at what Stiltz Lifts has achieved to date.”

Cllr Tyler said: “It was a real pleasure to visit such a thriving local business. I have made a very clear pledge to visit 100 local businesses during my year in office, which allows me to help celebrate the skills, work ethics and pride that goes into these firms every day. We are well over half way through that challenge and Stiltz Lifts was another great example of a fantastic local business.”
