Stiltz Home Lifts will be on stand G4 in the ‘Mobility Zone’ at the South East RISE4Disability Show this month.

The series of shows, which are billed as the most comprehensive regional disability events within the UK, attract thousands of delegates each year.

This event takes place at the Kent Showground in Maidstone on September 18. It will cover all ranges of disabilities and abilities and is targeted at a wide selection of professionals and end-users, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and case managers, as well as carers, parents and those who will use the products.

The Stiltz Home Lifts team will be promoting its newly-released BS5900 compliant Stiltz Trio+ Home Lift – a spacious, luxury wheelchair-accessible lift which has been designed to accommodate a full-sized wheelchair or comfortably carry up to three passengers.

This new domestic lift will give occupational therapists the chance to independently recommend the product during in-home OT assessments as an aid for those who need to adapt their homes to help make their lives easier. These adaptations can be partially or fully funded depending on the individual’s circumstances, by a Local Government Disabled Facilities Grant.

Having undergone extensive development, the Trio+ domestic lift is now fully compliant with BS5900 and BS EN 81-41 accreditation which means OTs can offer a practical and stylish mobility solution to end-users with confidence.

The domestic lift now incoroprates fire seal protection when the lift is parked at the upper or lower floor, and integrated with an existing smoke alarm. The new Trio+ is now also available with the added option of an automatic door to allow for ease when entering and exiting the lift in a wheelchair.

The car body has been especially designed for wheelchair users with wider entry and exit points and a gently-angled ramp for easier wheelchair access. The lift has also been uprated to a higher carrying capacity of 250kg helping widen the spectrum of users.

Gino Farruggio, UK Trade Sales Director for Stiltz Home Lifts, said: “We are delighted to be attending the RISE4Disability event at Maidstone in September and especially looking forward to discussing our new Stiltz Trio+ Home Lift with occupational therapists.

“The Trio+ has been subject to ongoing development since launching 12 months ago, and is now fully compliant with British Standards which means OTs can independently recommend this product to end-users who have a need for this type of home lift.

“This event is the perfect opportunity for us to meet with lots of professionals as well as those who will be using our Home Lifts, and explain how the Stiltz Trio+ Home Lift is helping to significantly improve people’s lives every day.”
