Home lifts specialist Stiltz Lifts launched in New Zealand in style this month by advertising in England’s Second Test cricket clash against the Black Caps.
The domestic lift manufacturer put itself in the sporting spotlight by promoting its brand on the pitch-side hoardings in the game at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
Stiltz Lifts co-founder Lachlan Faulkner said it helped Stiltz Lifts raise the profile and increase awareness of the company to both the UK and New Zealand viewing public and millions of television viewers internationally.
The match was broadcast around the world and finished in a dramatic draw as New Zealand, nicknamed the Black Caps, claimed a 1-0 series victory over England which included returning star batsman Ben Stokes. It was the first time the Kiwis had claimed a first series victory at home over England since 1983-84.
In February, the business was ranked as one of Britain’s fastest growing SME exporters for the second consecutive year after being listed as 10th in the Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100. The report ranks small and medium-sized (SME) enterprises with the fastest-growing international sales over the past two years.
Mr. Faulkner said: “We at Stiltz Lifts love cricket and both the England and New Zealand public do too so advertising at the Second Test was the perfect way to launch our brand in New Zealand.
“It is the first time Stiltz Lifts has advertised at such a major sporting event as a Test match but it was a fantastic opportunity for us to get our name out there to the England and New Zealand viewing public.
“As it turned out it was a nail-biting match as New Zealand came close to throwing it away but they held their nerve which meant TV viewers would have been glued to their TV sets I’m sure. We will certainly be looking to do more advertising at the cricket as it’s such great exposure for us.
“Stiltz Lifts has enjoyed an impressive number of sales in North America, Australia and Ireland and adding New Zealand to our list of countries is another piece of the global puzzle completed.”
