Stiltz Home Lifts has appointed Joe Bailey as its new business development manager as it looks to expand its reach into the social services sector.

Joe joins the domestic lift manufacturer after 16 years at postural care company SymmetriKit as its senior sales consultant.

He said: “It had to take an extraordinarily innovative and game-changing product to make me want to my leave my previous job but joining Stiltz Home Lifts just seemed the perfect fit.
“The homecare industry has never seen anything like the Stiltz Home Lift before and I was immediately impressed by its uniqueness and the way it provides homeowners with a simple and easy way of moving between the floors in their home. It is safe, reliable and looks fantastic in any home environment.”

Joe has been brought in by Stiltz Home Lifts to work with social services in order to grow the local Government contracts side of the business by developing relationships with independent OT firms and Disabled Facilities Grant groups. He also plans to work with major adaptations companies, home improvement agencies and will work with existing Stiltz dealers in the south of the country to promote the company’s innovative range of domestic lifts.

Joe added: “My aim is to work with social services on a much closer basis in order that Stiltz Home Lifts is in a strong position to tender for local Government contracts. This means speaking to OTs, who for so long, have had very limited and clinical looking options to prescribe for their clients using the Disabled Facilities Grant.

“I’m really looking forward to raising awareness about Stiltz Home Lifts with therapists and fund-holders in order that clients and their families can finally have something that they would actually like in their homes.”
