Staying true to our Australian roots, Stiltz Lifts is delighted to announce it is now the proud sponsor of Yorkshire cricket club first team coach Jason Gillespie.
Jason is a right-arm fast bowler and has represented Australia at both Test and One Day International level.
Known by his nickname, Dizzy, he has played for South Australia, Yorkshire and Glamorgan before he retired in 2008 after a stint playing in the Indian Cricket League.
Jason made his Test debut against the West Indies at Sydney in 1996 and his One Day International debut against Sri Lanka at Colombo the same year.
He took 259 wickets in 71 Tests with an average of 26.13 and provided valuable support to the likes of Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath at Test series level.
The 40-year-old started coaching in Zimbabwe in 2010 and became first team coach of Yorkshire one year later.
During that time, he has taken Yorkshire from Division Two of the County Championship to the Division One title in three years.
Stiltz Lifts expanded its UK operations and opened a new office in Leeds city centre earlier this year.
The company’s Yorkshire base is headed up by industry specialist Michael Loftus, who has more than 20 years of experience in the mobility market.
The decision to open a new office in the centre of Leeds is a result of Stiltz Lifts experiencing rapid growth after introducing its unique range of electric home lifts to the United Kingdom in 2011.
We look forward to seeing how Jason and Yorkshire get on this season!
