Builders / Builder’s Assistant

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are expanding our team and now looking to recruit multi-skilled builders to work on our through-floor aperture contracts in domestic homes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Carpentry skills / qualified joiners / general building skills

Home Lift Installers

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are expanding our team and now require Lift Installation Engineers, to work alongside a Building Engineer, to install our range of home lifts across the UK.


  • Ideally through floor lift installation experience, however not essential
  • Service and maintenance of electro/mechanical product
  • Electrical competence – fault diagnosis on electro/mechanical product
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional stay away from home

Surveyor (Bristol)

We are currently recruiting Surveyors for Maidenhead/Slough and Sheffield areas.  This role will ideally suit someone with exceptional communication skills, excellent written and interpersonal skills and attention to detail (would suit ex Building Inspector / Building Control Officer/ Experienced Builder or Carpenter).

Working with a wide range of clients, the role will be to survey/measure up for new through-floor lift installations, completing comprehensive paperwork and risk assessments, creating a method statement and a plan drawing; an intrinsic part of the role will be to develop good customer relations with a can-do and helpful manner.

Typical activities of the role include:

  • Advising clients about building/property issues including technical, building regulation and restoration matters
  • Undertaking property surveys and estimated costings to facilitate structural works
  • Inspecting the deterioration of a property and taking steps to ensure this does not affect the company’s planned works
  • Preparing structural sketches/plans, contracts, deadlines and other documentation
  • Writing technical reports/surveys that can be easily understood and followed by all trades
  • Planning and overseeing building work

Skills required:

  • At least 3 years’ structural experience in a multi-disciplined construction environment
  • CDM experience, and a full awareness of H&S
  • Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • Interest in and firm knowledge of the built environment and all current/upcoming revisions to working practices
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of industry-specific software
  • Analytically minded, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent people, project and time management skills
  • Driving licence

The candidate must be prepared to travel nationwide as part of their remit (company car provided)

Marketing Executive
(Wokingham, Berkshire)

Stiltz Ltd manufacture, sell, distribute and install the innovative Stiltz Homelift. The product is unlike any other as it has been designed specifically for domestic use. As a result, Stiltz is one of Europe’s fastest-growing SMEs achieving group turnover in excess of £20m in less that 10 years. Due to rapid company expansion and the development of an exciting export strategy, we are adding to our marketing team and seek to recruit a full time Marketing Executive, based in Wokingham to support UK and US marketing programmes.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Own the marketing automation function. The business has commissioned new CRM and Marketing Automation systems. Your focus will be to implement and then run the automation programmes across the US and UK
  • Repurpose UK email campaigns and re-segment for US; and vice versa
  • Create new campaigns based as needed
  • Regularly report on automation campaigns, creating clear and intelligent reporting


  • Build on the existing social media strategy. Develop our social media presence by extending existing engagement and seek new social opportunities in the US and UK for both consumer and trade coverage
  • Propose suggestions for social strategy enhancements
  • Develop and implement paid social campaigns alongside line manager
  • Schedule social posts, working with in-house designer to develop visually attractive designs
  • Provide detailed reporting on social media engagement and results of any paid work


  • Email campaign content creation, including briefing of designer on creative
  • Write new content for website blog and re-purpose existing content for SEO use
  • Liaise with in-house graphic designer, technical, engineering and product development teams to ensure all print-based marketing assets remain up to date
  • Together with Digital Marketing Executive, repurpose existing video content and suggest new content as needed
  • Manage the customer story programme, liaising with PR agency and photographer


  • Ensure all relevant assets are suitably localized for the US market, including digital, press and TV
  • Create and maintain landing pages for ‘Stiltz of’ dealers
  • Manage development of online and offline assets for US ‘Stiltz of’ locations
  • Undertake post-install customer engagement (and UK)
  • Manage brand usage across retailers for Stiltz and Lifton brands in the US
  • Develop regional campaigns to support local marketing strategies

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • Be able to clearly communicate with our target audience (affluent 60+)
  • Have understanding of multi-channel marketing across both B2B and B2C and be able to adapt content creation for each
  • Must be degree educated, preferably in a related discipline
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Significant experience in using marketing automation programmes. Bronto or similar preferred
  • Have some knowledge of Adobe CC (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Able to write in clear, professional English
  • Quickly gain knowledge of localising for US market
  • Self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to use own initiative
  • UK resident or work permit holder
  • Live within easy commutable distance to Wokingham, Berkshire
