Builders (multi skilled) / Carpenters (x 3)

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are expanding our team and now looking to recruit multi-skilled builders to work on our through-floor aperture contracts in domestic homes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Carpentry skills / qualified joiners / general building skills
  • Must have good understanding of structural work
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrics
  • Understanding of current CDM regulations
  • Awareness of current building practices
  • Company vehicle will be provided
  • Valid CSCS card

Home Lift Installers (x 4)

Due to the ongoing success of the company, we are expanding our team and now require Lift Installation Engineers, to work alongside a Building Engineer, to install our range of home lifts across the UK.

Requirements:

  • Ideally through floor lift installation experience, however not essential
  • Service and maintenance of electro/mechanical product
  • Electrical competence – fault diagnosis on electro/mechanical product
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional stay away from home
  • Ideally have electric qualification

Apprentice Office Administrator
(working towards a Level 2 in Business Administration) – Kingswinford

To provide administration support to the HR Officer and Financial Controller, duties will include:

  • Maintaining confidential HR records for over 120 employees
  • Carrying out driving licence checks / DBS checks
  • Keeping up to date records and monitoring staff appraisal process
  • Producing new starter induction packs / staff handbooks
  • Use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Filing of invoices
  • Printing daily supplier invoices
  • Posting supplier invoices to the accounts system
  • Assist with chasing up missing credit card expenses
  • Assist with year-end financial audit

Desired qualifications:
Minimum 6 GCSEs with grade 4 or above including Maths and English (predicted grades considered)

Hours of work: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, with one hour lunch break.

Regional Installations Manager, North

A newly created role has arisen for a Regional Installations Manager to cover the North of the country.

Job Role
Based in the field, carry out the daily management of the Field based Installation Teams, consisting of Builders and Installation Engineers. Working alongside the Field Operations Manager to drive through new initiatives and improvements which will increase efficiencies in the Field and reduce costs. Ensure all installations are completed in a safe manner with the highest levels of quality achieved. Strive to achieve a right first time on the installations and avoid unnecessary reworks along with the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Field Operations Manager
Reportees: Builders, Installation Engineers

Main Tasks

  • Act as Line Manager for the Builders and Installation Engineers
  • Work closely alongside the Logistics Manager and Field Operations Manager to ensure the required Installation resource requirements are met, including holiday and sickness cover
  • Act as point of escalation from the Installation Teams
  • Work closely with the Field Operations Manager to identify training needs for the builders and engineers
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager and Logistics Manager with the resolution of customer issues/ complaints
  • Ensure Return to Work Interviews are carried out on all builders and Installation engineers
  • Project Manage the Installations and attend site to monitor progress, safety and quality
  • Carry out QC visits at customer homes
  • Carry out H&S Audits in the field
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1 and team meetings
  • Deliver Tool Box Talks in the field
  • Ensure all activities in the field are in accordance with ISO and other accreditations

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience carrying out building works in houses
  • Experience and good up to date knowledge of building regulations
  • Ideally hold a Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH
  • Excellent people manager
  • Flexible approach, resourceful and good time management skill

Field Service Engineers
(one South Midlands and one in the Midlands)

Requirements:

  • Field service experience ideally in domestic home environment
  • Service and maintenance of vertical lifts (through floor/step/passenger)
  • Fault finding skills on electro/mechanical products
  • Full driving license
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasionally stay away from home
  • I.T. literate
  • DBS check required


Duties to Include:

  • Service and repair of home lifts
  • Participate in out of hours on call rota
  • Accurate completion of all required Job Sheets and documentation
  • Adhering to quality standards
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements
  • Management of van spares stock
