At Stiltz, our home lifts continue to take the lead in home accessibility and we’re delighted to announce the continued strengthening of links with other adaptation specialists. Our most recent partnership is with design-led accessible bathroom specialists, Fine & Able which helps hundreds of disabled and older people every year across the UK to adapt their bathrooms in a style they love.

We strongly believe collaborating with like-minded businesses gives us a greater understanding of personal mobility needs which in turn, leads to a better service for our customers. It gives us a unique opportunity to signpost our customers towards trusted partners who provide high-quality adaptations which complement our domestic lifts.

Fine & Able deliver a complete bathroom service from design, through to installation (within a 30-mile radius of the Twickenham showroom currently) and aftercare. Their highly-trained and friendly team provide exactly the right levels of support, helping customers achieve a bathroom which caters specifically to their individual needs. Fine & Able’s accessible design consultants, product specialists and installers work to achieve the perfect balance of function and form in every bathroom installation.

Fine & Able is built on a decade of experience and a desire to provide something better than the clinical-looking equipment that filled Co-Founder James’s home when he returned to it following a spinal cord injury. Stiltz Homelifts also has this approach to life-improving access within the home, designing attractive products which provide vital yet discreet accessibility. Ed Warner, Founder of Fine & Able concurs, “There are clever ways to design flexible homes that you wouldn’t necessarily know were designed to meet a specific need. We’ve designed the clinical look and feel out and created beautiful solutions. Hence forging a closer association with Stiltz Homelifts makes perfect sense.”

Yola Mealing, Head of Brand and Marketing Communications at Stiltz Homelifts agrees with Ed’s statement as she concludes: “The styling and functionality of our domestic lifts reflect perfectly what Ed is saying. While we continue to disrupt the traditional stairlift industry we are mindful to provide an attractive, flexible and futureproofed product for the end-user. It’s about helping those with any kind of compromised mobility retain positivity and self-worth and to help them live their best life. By working together, we can ensure this message is amplified so more people can stay in the home they love, for longer.”
